The Project Recharge Venture Showcase had student representatives from eight schools share their eco ventures, which ranged from ward-wide recycling efforts, school energy action plans, anti-idling campaigns and much more.
Congratulations to Polaris Charter Academy, who was selected by a panel of esteemed judges as the top venture! Their venture was awarded half of the money raised by the evening's silent auction.
A special thanks to Vicky Fernandez, our student speaker from Lincoln Park High School, who electrified attendees with her passion and vision for a sustainable world and what she'll do to help ensure we get there.
